Story about my artwork:
"An Elephant Never Forgets", Mixed media mades from discared clothing and sewing thread, 65"x52", 2019.
I grew up in Thailand. The elephant is our national animal because it has been part of the society for many centuries and has contributed immensely to the Thai culture. Our familiar phrase "Elephant Never Forgets" refers to the animal's alleged intelligence, memory and longevity. The elephant symbolizes our connections to the past.
