The Blue Period: Haworth Municipal Library (June 5 - July 30, 2017)
"The Blue Period" is poramit's latest exhibition of his cyanotype prints on paper, fabric and wood. His works will be displayed throughout the Haworth Municipal Library in Haworth, New Jersey during the summer. This exhibition will show an example Poramit’s work from the past three years. The work is created from various techniques of cyanotype that includes images printed on paper, wood and fabric. There is also toning in different colors and the use of cyanotype to create mixed media works using photography, drawing, painting and printmaking. He has been worked on Cyanotype for five years and his works have been exhibited in New York city and New Jersey. Note: ▪ Cyanotype is the developing process used to make blue prints. ▪ Photogram is a photograph made without a camera by placing objects directly onto a photographic paper. ▪ Making cyanotype prints is simple process. You coat a piece of paper with a solution, expose it to UV light covered by either a negative or objects, wash it out and you’ve got a print. ▪ Digital negative can be photograph in any film or digital medium that are produced a negative via inkjet printer.
