Artwork Description
There are three pieces of art that created from almost 1000 paper butterflies in this installation. "Butterfly Afro" is a girl who has a big dream and ready for a new beginning. "Starlette" is a wearable sculpture with butterfly wings. It is a whimsical fantasy dress. "Butterfly, Message of Hope" It is interactive art installation that the viewer can write their message on a paper butterfly and post it to be a part of the installation.
"The butterfly has become a metaphor for positive transformations, hope during a dark time, comfort and new beginnings; across cultures, it has become a symbol for rebirth and resurrection. Among the ancients, it is an emblem of the soul and of unconscious attraction towards light. For example, Yellow butterflies are associated with hope. A white butterfly is often seen as a good luck charm. Black butterfly is generally considered a sign of positive change, renewal, or rebirth."

3. "Butterfly, Message of Hope", 2022, interactive art installation with almost 200 origami paper butterflies that made from discarded magazines, books and junk mail. Viewer will be able to write their message and post it to be a part of the installation, site-specific installation.
