They are bas-relief mosaics made with old wood cuts by Dutch artist, Ron van der Ende He specializes in wall mounted bas-reliefs constructed from found wood. It is next to the world's tallest building. It was built for $217 million by WET Design, which is the same company that created the one at the Bellagio Hotel, in Las Vegas.  The 28-mile-long Berlin Wall stood as a border between East and West Berlin from 1961 to 1989. On November 9, 2009, Berlin will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
