Another delicious homemade bread from chef Tommy who loves the French cuisine and visits France almost every year. He said you can have this bread with any kind of food; soup, pasta, stew, making your own sandwish or just having it with your favorite cheese. He got this "French Boule" recipe from "Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day" his collection of cook books from amazon.com.
Yummy apple galette, making from the scratch by chef Tommy. I ask him how to make it? He said "kinda easy just 4 easy steps" 1. peel & cut apple, just used 1 large apple for these 2or3 small galettes 2. fry in butter then sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and a splash of calvados 3. stir it gets all sticky 4. then put it in the pie crust or pastry dough for the galette and bake in 375° oven about 40 mins Serve slightly warm or at room temperature or add one scoop of vanilla icecream on the top....slurp!!! |
