My Cyanotype Workshop at RoCA (Summer 2023)

My cyanotype workshop on Saturday June 3, 2023 at Rockland Center for the Arts.

"Cyanotype: Printing with the Sun" 
Workshop Summery: 

How to do cyanotype
1. Coat solution on paper in the darkroom and let it dry.
2. Put your object or negative film on top of you coated paper
3. Expose your paper in the sun or UV light for about 10-20 minutes.
4. Rinse the paper in water for 30 minutes and let it dry.

Material Used
1. Cyanotype solution
2. Watercolor or printmaking paper
4. Hydrogen peroxide for speeding up oxidation to fully develop the blue image
5. Lemon juice or vinegar for toning in teal color.
